About this Opportunity
Responsible for the alignment of the HMGaming brand across all digital and physical touchpoints. Reporting directly to the General Manager of HMGaming, you will actively partner with the leadership team to build the HMGaming brand and influence and align all creative work connected with the brand: products, experiences, marketing, etc. As an active partner with HMGaming leadership and product teams, you will ensure products align with the brand vision by briefing, reviewing, and guiding the creative content of products. Additionally, you will contribute to developing and implementing strategies to grow the brand across all channels.

Accountable for defining the HMGaming brand in partnership with the leadership team
Along with marketing and creative teams, provide guidance or redirection on critical brand communications and experience projects, assuring that all creative initiatives are aligned with the brand vision.
Build the foundation of the HMGaming Brand by working cross-functionally with creative marketing, editorial, and HM Brand to define the brand voice, identity, and values and ensuring every consumer touchpoint is aligned.
Co-author product creative design briefs that reflect the needs of the business and clarify the design problem.
Establish and communicate a clear, ownable, and actionable brand vision. Work closely with product teams, internal design teams, marketing, creative and broader organizations on all brand-connected designs to ensure alignment and build brand strength.
Maintain awareness of trends that broadly influence the gaming industry.
Maintain strong working relationships with the internal design team and design leadership.
Partner with Creative Directors across the organization to build best practices, clarify unique brand propositions, and build the group's overall strength.
Partner with marketing leadership, art directors, and creative studio leadership; input into creative briefs for communications and marketing initiatives. Act as a link between business unit, marketing, and design team via creative reviews.
Provide guidance and direction to product design and development teams at key phases of the development process to assure new products align with the brand.
Responsible as the brand owner to achieve cohesiveness and consistency of creative work across product design and development, marketing, and customer experience.
Serve as design voice and ambassador for the brand to marketing, PR, and internal communication teams.
Work collaboratively with the HMGaming leadership team to define long-term product strategy and priorities for the brand and businesses.

You might be just who we're looking for if you have . . .
Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts or Design or related field; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
10+ years of in-depth experience in product design, design management and overall experience design
Work history across design disciplines, including print, digital, and experience design.
Strong relationship and consensus-building skills are necessary to manage projects in a complex matrixed environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and work with all levels in the organization.
Ability to use broad business acumen and holistic perspective to see opportunities and risks of potential trade-offs
Demonstrated leadership competence, including the proven ability to effectively focus resources to implement a business strategy, generate excitement and commitment to vision and ability to implement goals that drive innovation and change.
Demonstrated excellent coaching, mentoring, and people development skills.
Demonstrated outstanding written/verbal communication skills and a proven capability to present complex concepts concisely and understandably to a variety of audiences, including the highest level of the organization
