We are currently looking for Technical Sales Engineer responsible for engineering and commercial requirements of the customers that are located within assigned territory. Responsible to develop new accounts; markets and product niches that allow the organization continued growth and profits. Location: flexible.
The Sales Engineer is the main contact for Deva customers within the assigned sales territory and will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities at existing customers, as well as developing new customers. This position will require the ability to gather technical information from customer engineering pertaining to specific application/project and clearly delivering this information to Deva application engineering and customer development market segment teams located in Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
50% of time spent visiting customers, balance in office taking care of administrative requirements, setting up future customer meetings, researching potential new applications/markets
Develop new business opportunities at new and existing customers
Research and develop new technical applications for Deva within current markets served as well as potential new markets
Give technical presentations related to Deva Products and Applications to a diverse range of customer engineering and purchasing teams
Work closely with customer engineering to clearly understand their applications from a technical perspective
Communicate customers technical and product requirements to Deva application engineering and customer development teams located in Europe
Contribute actively in establishing annual sales plans, strategic plans, as well as short/medium - and long term sales forecasts by customer / project within responsible territory
Independently manage and organize assigned territory to achieve annual sales goals and targets
Closely work with Deva management team to fully understand company's goals, objectives and business needs to assist in achieving annual sales growth requirements
Submit technical and commercial RFQ's per customer's requirements
Work with customers to resolve any quality, warranty, delivery , or commercial issues
Required Experience
Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
Requirements
5 years of technical sales experience of mechanical components in Industrial market
Mechanical design experience preferred
Experience in industrial equipment industry is preferred
Good communication, technical, teamwork skills, self motivated personality
Proven experience with handling complex projects
Familiarity with Solid mechanical engineering principles
