JOB OVERVIEW:
This position is responsible for achieving sales targets in assigned territories on designated Henry Schein Practice Services both in terms of total sales, leads, and partner solution providers. Manage expenses to budget. Educate, lead, and hold field TSMs accountable for their performance, including the development of positive relationships in assigned territory and achievement of sales.
The primary objective of this individual will be to engage, support, influence, and lead a territory consisting of multiple zones/regions to grow the overall sales of Henry Schein Practice Services products and services; as well as drive other strategic initiatives. This individual will generate, monitor, and follow up on sales activity and opportunity for Henry Schein Practice Services as directed by the Director of Business Solutions Sales. The Practice Services Specialist (PSS) will execute a strategic plan for new sales opportunities to grow market share in designated areas as well as coach their Field TSMs to do the same. The PSS will be expected to spend meaningful time in the field developing effective training and educational platforms as well as co-traveling with Field TSMs. The PSS will be expected to develop strategies to support and drive Henry Schein Practice Services event attendance in their territory. The PSS will be responsible for educating the TSMs in their area on any existing Henry Schein Practice Services products and services in detail including, but not limited to, pricing, temporary and ongoing promotions, sales process, etc. The PSS will also be expected to guide, develop, and empower their TSMs to perform under the same expectations. The PSS will be expected to be in regular and consistent communication with the ZGMs, RMs, and TSMs in their area. This person may be called upon to lead other special projects as well, as assigned by Henry Schein Practice Services Leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide sales support for all team members within the assigned territory by working with TSMs in the field up to 3 days per week to attain training objectives, drive strategic initiatives, and field activity goals for the district
Coach TSMs to improve sales effectiveness, including selling skills, territory management and relationship development with Henry Schein Practice Services contacts and partners.
Communicates with Henry Schein Practice Services Leaders to initiate, track, and monitor strategic sales and marketing objectives and campaigns.
Communicate regularly with HSD RMs on assigned TSM performance and develop plans to improve performance of related territory
Communicates with Henry Schein Practice Services Leadership and partners to assist in lead development, sales activity, and follow up
Attend assigned dental events (BDMs, tradeshows, customer meetings, NSM, etc) within territory assignment with purpose to train, coach, and push targeted sales results
Other assignments as given by sales leadership
Attend Corporate, national, and regional meetings as required to assist in communicating and training on Business Solutions portfolio.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Typically 5 to 7 or more years of increasing Lead Generation responsibilities or 1-3 years of experience as a Field Sales Consultant. Dental sales experience preferred.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus. May hold one or more industry certifications; professional certification may be required to advance.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position will have a 40% travel requirement outside of their local market. This position will be working as an outside sales/management representative in a mobile environment.
The posted range for this position is $71,280-$124,740 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including education, prior experience, training, current skills, certifications, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
