Job Summary
Prepares, maintains, and reconciles accounts payable information in the Accounts Payable system. Works with vendors and internal customers to resolve problems and special requests.
Essential Functions
Prepares, enters, maintains, and reconciles data in the accounts payable system.
Works with vendors and all levels of internal staff to resolve invoice and coding problems, pay invoices within the organization's terms, and handle special requests as needed.
Maintains files in an organized manner to ensure invoice documentation is maintained (includes optical scanning).
Adapts to changing internal and external environment pertaining to accounts payable.
Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization.
Completes required continuous training and education, including department specific requirements.
Performs daily activities in an accurate and timely manner.
Demonstrates teamwork and integrity in all work-related activities.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of relevant experience business office, accounts payable, accounting, finance, health plan administration, and/or customer service experience Required
