Location: 850 76th Street S.W. - Byron Center, Michigan 49315 Job Description: Position Summary: Job Description Position Summary: This role is responsible to assist the Procurement Team with purchasing store equipment and maintaining all proper documentation while following company standards. Here's what you'll do: * Issue and track purchase orders through the life of the order (requisition to payment). * Receive and respond to a variety of routine requests by phone, in person, or written correspondence. * Compile and maintain information and records to prepare purchase orders and edit purchase requests. * Coordinate requirements and specifications for Request for Proposals (RFP) and eAuctions. * Maintain and update agreements, pricing, contact information, etc. in various company filing systems. * Review supplier invoices to purchase orders; follow up on discrepancies in a timely manner. * Reconcile financials at project and year end. * Serve as a liaison to other departments on behalf of the Buyers. * Maintain purchasing system and train other users within the organization. * Maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional business partners and external customers & vendors. * Create and track billings, credits and vendor deductions. * Coordinate third party shipments and maintain third party shipping program. * Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Two years general office experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and secondary education. * Good written and verbal communication skills and customer service skills. * Must have attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and effective organization and prioritization skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) required. * Basic knowledge of procurement principles and skills preferred. * Hybrid role.
