Sr. Data Analyst, Sales
The Sr. Data Analyst is responsible for understanding and interpreting data collected, and presenting conclustions in charts, graphs or spreadsheets so customers or other members of the company can easily understand the information. The Sr. Data Analyst designs databases to import, clean, and avalidate data - and writes reports, creates presentations, and answers questions from customers and internal team members concerning the results. This position provides data analysis for all regional and branch level departments.
In this role, you will:
Provide summary data analysis to the Northern Region Sales and Engineering management team and departments.
Design databases to import, clean, and validate data.
Assemble, sort and decipher information into database queries or data fields for analysis.
Create reports including, but not limited to:
Vendor Reporting and Pricing Analysis
Sales Reporting and Pricing Analysis
Market Basket / Sales Opportunity
Customer Reporting
Rockwell Vendor Rebate Problem Analysis
Major event management & coordination for Northern Region Sales & Engineering, including but not limited to Automation Fair, Rockwell Automation on the Move, Open Houses, and Customer Events.
Update correlation database and develop marketing campaigns.
Manage regional and branch level vendor co-op program(s) including collection and tracking of data, allocating funds for marketing/advertising, adherence to branding/identity guide, handling of reimbursement requests to vendors and controlling inventory.
Manage the monthly Customer Newsletter and monthly On-Hold message.
Manage Northern Region Affiliated Distributors (AD) joint marketing plan.
To be successful, you will have/be:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Extensive knowledge of Electrical Distribution sales, engineering, and operations
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office products
Ability to quickly comprehend new processes/projects, work independently, and self-initiate projects/tasks
Proven ability with good analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and good verbal and written communication skills
