Process Technician
MMI Engineered Solutions, a leader in plastic injection molding, is currently seeking an experienced Process Technician.
Located in Saline, Michigan, MMI Engineered Solutions is an established but growing enterprise providing world class engineering solutions for advanced composites and engineered resins across multiple industries. We engineer innovative ideas for today's complex design and manufacturing issues.
This position will report to the Plant Manager and is a vital part of the injection molding team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of successful injection mold processing experience in a manufacturing environment. The individual in this role will be responsible for analyzing, improving, and adjusting the molding machine processes to maximize cost, quality, and throughput of molding operations, by establishing process control guidelines. Candidates must be knowledgeable in trouble shooting molding processes to maintain consistent quality output.

Qualifications:
- 3 or more years "Hands-on" processing and troubleshooting injection molding equipment
- Mold design best practices experience is required.
- Large part injection molding experience is ideal
- Light maintenance experience is needed
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
- Computer usage and typing skills are essential, experience with Microsoft Suite a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb a ladder up to 15 ft. and walk and stand during entire shift.
