Quality Engineer
We are looking for a Quality Engineer who will report to the Quality Manager at Manitou, and who'll be tasked with helping us ensure quality standards are met at our St. John facility. As part of your role, you'll be overseeing our powder coating and welding area.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Designing quality standards and implementing processes by collaborating with leadership team
Inspect materials, equipment, and products
Develop quality control systems, and determine corrective actions
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Required:
HS Diploma & 3 plus years experience as a Quality Engineer
Root cause analysis & Corrective action process and understanding of GD&T & blueprint reading
Ability to work independently and communicate in a cross functional environment
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Green Belt/Six Sigma certification
Experience with powder coat paint process and welding
Experience with google suite or Microsoft office; Minitab, Visio or MS project software
