What You Need to Succeed in This Position
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Advanced certification level training or associates degree preferred
- 3-5 years of experience supporting machine maintenance/repair in a manufacturing environment
- General skills and expertise related to maintenance activities
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite
- Great mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical problems
- Proficient verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Positive teamwork and attitude required to support the manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety
- Maintain Inventory records for equipment and supplies
- Maintain a 5S environment in work area and Tool Shop
- Follow lock out tag out procedures and all other safety rules
- Maintain and displays strong attendance habits by being present and on time
