Description:
This is a fairly physical warehouse role in which light machinery is involved to perform daily tasks. This individual is responsible for fulfilling customer wire orders by both accurately reading order tickets, and accurately utilizing machinery to measure and cut wire to specified lengths. This is an energetic and hard-working individual with an understanding of warehouse operations that likes to be hands on. Quality assurance is a standard in performing this job.
Responsibilities:
* Operating Wire Measuring and Cutting Machinery
* Reading Customer Orders Accurately
* Operating a Hilo
* Cycle Counting
* General Maintenance and Warehouse Upkeep
* Inventory and Stock Movement
* Truck Staging and Loading
* Safe Handling of Materials
Requirements:
* Dependable, reliable, and accurate.
* Able to operate a forklift or willing to learn.
* Physical work including but not limited to being able to lift and carry up to 100lbs, bend, kneel, climb
ladders and be on feet walking/standing entire shift.
* Indoor/Outdoor work environment.
* Observing all safety policies and procedures.
* Minimum of 1 year warehouse work experience.
* Fundamental math skills.
Hours: M-F, 6-3, 8-5, 10-7, with overtime as needed
Job Type: Full-time, $18.00-$21.00 per hour starting pay
