The Staff Assistant will be located in our Plant 10, Whitehall Casting Operation in Whitehall, MI.
Primary responsibilities will include:
Administration of job routing/entry of rework routers to support engineering
Communication Center lead, ensuring communications to employees and the plant are up-to-date
Plant training recordkeeping
Enter material requisitions, purchase orders, office supply orders, and other similar functions
Maintain several databases and systems for daily plant staff use, including archiving data per standards
Coordinate meetings, special events, travel and customer visits for the plant
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required
Basic Requirements:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years general office, administrative, or staff assistant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting multiple people a plus.
Strong computer experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Good written/oral communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
