Job Description

Ability to perform inspection checks using micrometers, verniers, indicators and gauges.

Set-up and run quality parts on Blanchard grinder.

Knowledge to change out and dress grinding stones on Blanchard grinder.

Grinds parts to size and does quality checks to ensure parts are within specifications of print.

Sets up and operates multiple drilling and tapping machines.

Maintains housekeeping standards within the department.

Additional Requirements

Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, verniers and indicator gauges.

Familiar with various carbide insert grades and geometrics.

Able to use a basic calculator, have basic math skills and use a scale accurately.

Must be self-motivated.

Abillity to lift 50 lbs

Work in environment of oil subtances and solvents.

Physical dexterity.

4 day work week Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm

Overtime depends on production demands.

Ability to pass drug test and pre-employment physical.
