DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Duties:
• Launch new vehicle programs in North America assembly plants.
• Responsible for the overall program management and delivery of new vehicle programs. Activities include but are not limited to; Issue Resolution, Quality/Status Assessments, Fleet (Vehicle) Management and Budgets/Timing
• Managing the Launch Teams transition to the plant.
• Managing Pre-Production Build Events.
• Managing the ordering, building, testing, and disposition of vehicles.
• Managing the Fleet Evaluation Plan.
• Managing Worldwide Engineering Release System. (WERS)
• Gatekeeper for New Model Programs.
• Leading the Automated Issue Management (AIM) process for the Program Team.
• Co-Chairing the Change Control Meeting.
• Co-Chairing Open to Go (OTG) Meetings and driving part support issues to resolution.
• Champion Senior Management Presentations.
• Preparing and presenting New Model Program weekly assessment reports.
• Managing launch budget approval and executing elements controlled by New Model Programs within the launch budget.
• This position involves long-term travel (up to 9-12 months at a time) to support assembly plants during program launches.
Preferred Requirements:
• MS Engineering degree preferred
