Job Details

This position is responsible for executing Project Management and Portfolio activities and strategies throughout the organization including those related to product development, risk management, change management, and issue management.  This includes accountability for the execution of related company policies and procedures.  This involves ensuring execution of cross-functional project management processes and methodologies, with the goal of developing and delivering innovative, high-quality, safe and effective products, services, and business processess.

1. In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
2. Lead a team to define, implement, and maintain organization-wide project and resource management tools allowing for project management activities.
3. Measure performance and progress of all projects in the assigned portfolio using appropriate tools and techniques. Identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.
4. Monitor resource demand using appropriate and available tools. Recommend and facilitate the sharing of resources among their constituent projects to the overall benefit of the organization.
5. Facilitate stakeholder management by communicating all relevant information including decisions and prioritizations to the stakeholders, including executive management, in order to ensure organizational alignment.
6. Report on Key Performance Indicators and evaluate for appropriate action.
7. Create and maintain project templates including resource estimates to accurately capture and forecast resource requirements and project delivery dates.
8. Maintain accurate resource capacity/availability and related information using appropriate and available tools.
9. Develop plans using goals and objectives of the portfolio, applicable historical information, and other available resources in order to align portfolio with expectations of sponsors and stakeholders. 
10. Execute project plans (quality, risk, communication, staffing, etc.) by using the appropriate tools and by auditing the results of their use in order to align the project outcomes with stakeholder expectations and standards.
11. Capture project status and data by ensuring the population of the project management information system in order to maintain accurate and current project and resource information for the use of stakeholders.
12. Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, project resources, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and facilitate executive acceptance.
13. Responsible for the coordinated management of multiple related projects within assigned portfolio.
14. Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others. Maintain and develop relationships with internal functions (Operations, Marketing, Regulatory, Product Development, Finance, etc).
15. Identify and facilitate continuous improvement activities.
16. Utilizes the systems and processes in place to attract, develop, engage, train and retain talented Associates; creating a work environment where Associates can realize their full potential, thus allowing the organization to meet business needs.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.
