Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic health care team serving a diverse community of clients within our Medical Home!
Telephonically, completes patient assessment, education and, as appropriate, patient scheduling. Utilizes general knowledge in conjunction with approved protocols and standards in advising patients and parents. Provides or assists in patient care. As directed by the nursing supervisor, oversees office clinical functions and/or documentation needs. Works collaboratively with the nurse supervisor, providers, Medical Assistants, and administrative clinic staff.
The applicant must be licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State of Michigan. Primary schedule; Monday Friday 8a 5p with occasional evening as required. Broad clinical nursing experience, community health and prior ambulatory care experience a plus.
