Operations Manager for Dynamometer Test Equipment in Novi, Michigan
Froude Hofmann, a world renown test equipment manufacturer with plants and facilities around the globe is seeking to fill the position of Operations Manager for its North American affiliate company FHI in Novi MI. The current Operations Manager is retiring.
The Operations Manager is part of the senior management team and is accountable for the following functions:
- Purchasing and vendor management
- Inventory and production planning (ERP system)
- Manufacturing (assembly and test)
- Quality
- Facility management
- Supervision of about 6 to 8 employees
- Interface with project management, sales and accounting
Froude Hofmann designs, manufactures and supplies an extensive range of engine and vehicle testing systems in the automotive, motorsports, aerospace, marine and industrial markets. Our test systems consist of a variety of engine and chassis dynamometers and high end control and data acquisition software, along with test stands and ancillary equipment for the test cell.
