Classroom Aides Needed in Houghton and Baraga Counties
BHK seeks an individual to act as the third adult in the classroom (part time, school year), providing a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
* Wage starts at $15/hour (additional compensation based on education and experience). Robust benefit package includes sick leave, personal leave, holiday pay, retirement, and life insurance.
Responsibilites:
- Under direction of the teacher, classroom aide supports managment of the classroom and activities for children (placements in infant/toddler or preschool classrooms based on individual's preference).
- Guide and support children during class activities, meals/snack, and rest time.
- Support effective individualized lesson plans and group experiences for children of all abilites.
