This Is Not Your Average Bar Job
T.Dub's is an independently owned restaurant and bar in the heart of Downtown Frankenmuth — one of Michigan's most visited destinations. We are not a chain. We are not a corporate operation. We are a real restaurant built by real people who care about food, drinks, hospitality, and the community we serve.
We serve a mix of tourists visiting Frankenmuth and locals who call this place their spot. That means every shift is different, every guest has a story, and the bar is never boring. If you are the kind of bartender who takes pride in their craft, reads the room, and genuinely enjoys taking care of people — we want to talk to you.
What You Will Do
- Own your bar — keep it clean, organized, stocked, and running at all times
- Make classic cocktails and house specialties according to T.Dub’s drink recipes with consistency and care
- Read your guests and deliver the experience they came in for
- Know the menu — food and drink — and make recommendations with confidence
- Card every guest who looks under 40. No exceptions.
- Serve food and drinks to bar guests and support the dining room when needed
- Handle cash, tabs, and Toast POS accurately
- Open, close, and maintain the bar following our standard checklists
- Comply with all Michigan liquor laws and T.Dub's responsible service standards
- Attention to detail and cleanliness is a MUST
What We Are Looking For
- At least 1 year of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar — this is not a training position
- Solid knowledge of spirits, beer, wine, and classic cocktail preparation
- Someone who is calm under pressure and moves with a sense of urgency when it counts
- A genuine hospitality mindset — you actually enjoy taking care of people
- Reliability — if you are on the schedule, you show up
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a team
- 21 years of age or older
- TAMS or alcohol serving certification is a plus
