POSITION SUMMARY
This full-time position is for a Community Planner in our Planning & Architecture group within either our Saginaw office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is excited about joining a great team of dedicated professionals that help Michigan communities throughout the State.

A TYPICAL DAY ON THE JOB
- College graduate who has an urban and regional planning background and studied aspects of community master planning, local zoning, transportation planning, GIS mapping, site and neighborhood design, urban design, community engagement, economic development, downtown development, and demographic research and analysis.
- Highly motivated, well organized, detail oriented, personable, and eager to learn and grow while working on community planning projects for cities, townships, villages, and counties throughout Michigan.
- Workload includes projects focusing on master plans, zoning ordinances, land use, recreation planning, corridor planning, grant writing, and various other client-based projects.
- This position involves in-state travel and the candidate should anticipate attendance at night meetings.
- Excellent written and verbal skills and be familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and ArcGIS.
