We are looking for Day Shift Mill Operators to join our team at our Manufacturing Operations Headquarters located in Monroe, MI. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with competitive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, employee discounts and professional development assistance.
Schedule: M-F 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 per Hour (dependent on experience)
Job Overview: The Mill Operator is responsible for machine set ups, quality and manufacturing of wood/lumber products. Maintains correct production reports.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate Production machinery such as CNC and various saws/cutting machinery to manufacture wood/lumber products
- Perform equipment change-over's
- Complete Pre-Shift/start up equipment inspection
- Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside specifications
- Operate within standard operation procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
- Complete daily production logs
- Clean and maintain work area
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
- Other duties as assigned
