Position Summary:
This position is focused on task surrounding Accounts Receivables. A practical example of the work being performed includes entering invoices into the system, customer receipts – including collections and managing corporate credit card needs. The type of candidate we’re looking for is dynamic, organized, flexible and highly motivated. Key Responsibilities:
- Entering invoices
- Entering customer receipts and performing collections
- Resolve invoicing issues and answer payment inquiries
- Assist in inventory reconciliation including financial close and tonnage
- Manage corporate Credit Card needs and prepare monthly journal entries
- Manage portions of the daily banking activities on banking website including the coordination of incoming and outgoing payments
- Prepare and File State Sales Tax Forms
- Assist in monitoring and enforcing internal controls.
- Achieve targeting objectives by reviewing expenditures, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions
- Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
- Audit transactions to verify proper policies and procedures.
What We're looking for:
A competitive candidate for this position will possess the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant professional experience
- 2 years experience with accounts receivable, month-end closes, documenting supporting information for journal entries and inventory counts
- Strong Accounts Receivable background
- ERP/SAP experience – Sage is desirable
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding deadlines and continuous improvement – this can be as simple as refining a process or innovating a new way of doing things
