Millennia Housing Management, LTD., a successful management company located in the Midwest is looking for a strong and experienced Assistant Manager with a passion for Leasing! The property has 146 apartments housing senior an disabled residents and is located in Detroit, MI (48202). We desire someone that has experience in Conventional Market Rate, Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and/or other subsidies of multi-family low income housing. The Assistant Manager will also lead the property when the Manager is out of the office. This is a full -time position with an excellent benefit package and attractive starting salary of approximately $15.00/hour.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 yrs. experience in marketing and leasing of apartments, including creation of marketing materials, outreach marketing to community and the ability to close the sale and lease the apartments. Strong math skills are required. This person must be a self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision. The position requires flexibility in scheduling including weekday evenings and Saturdays for leasing appointments. This position has a heavy focus on income verification/certification, paperwork and resident relations.
