The Electrician will be a member of our Manufacturing Maintenance team and will report to the Supervisor on 2nd shift. The Electrician is responsible for performing a variety of functions such as installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, devices and components applicable to production and production related equipment.

- perform new equipment installations in accordance with schematic wiring diagrams.
- install conduit, wiring, control systems, micro switches, relays, DC drive motors and similar equipment, and repair and replace such equipment as necessary.
- determine wire sizes required for specific applications.
- remove and replace armatures, coils and the like in electric motors.
- diagnose and correct problems that arise on electrically operated and controlled equipment, and troubleshoot and repair the equipment with or without electrical prints.
- perform preventative maintenance on all manner of electrical distribution systems.

- a current Electrical license issued through the state of Michigan.
- a high school diploma or equivalent level of education and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical field.
- experience with robotics and industrial controls.
- knowledge of PLC design and application including programming and troubleshooting.
- the willingness to maintain and advance skill level through personal effort and training.
- the ability to operate as a cohesive team member as well as act independently.
This position will require employees to be available Monday through Saturday with the department determining which days will comprise the 40 hour work week based upon production and scheduling demands.
