Foley & Lardner is seeking a senior M&A associate or other seasoned M&A attorney (ideally in class years 2015-2018) to join the well-established Transactions Practice Group in our Detroit office. This position will involve primarily working on US and international private company M&A transactions, with a focus on middle market private equity transactions. The attorney candidate would be joining a growing, energetic and collaborative culture that values character, work ethic and personal/professional development. Qualified candidates must have extensive M&A experience. The ideal candidate also will have sophisticated document drafting skill and the ability to manage/lead smaller M&A transactions and be the lead associate on larger M&A transactions. The candidate should be comfortable with direct interaction with senior partners, specialist teams, junior associates and clients and have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid work ethic. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the state in which the candidate is admitted to practice.
