Job Details

A Data Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of mission-driven and business-critical analytical and reporting activities at HealthWest.  The Data Analyst supports clinical staff and supervisors, agency leadership, and community partners, by ensuring all stakeholders have the information needed to monitor and measure performance, improve clinical care and organizational operations, and make strategic, data-driven decisions.  To accomplish this, a Data Analyst is responsible for data extraction, combining data sources, analysis, and visualization; generating datasets and reports for internal use and required external reporting; and participation in ongoing quality improvement activities.  A successful Data Analyst will possess a blend of technical skills and experience, clear written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to solve problems with curiosity and critical thinking.  The contributions of a Data Analyst will support HealthWest’s efforts to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement; fulfill the organization’s mission of addressing the needs of our community; increase the effectiveness, satisfaction and value of services; measure and improve performance; solve problems; and improve outcomes.
