The Communications and Training Manager, under the direction of the Director of Community Relations, will oversee internal and external communications and training for staff, providers and partners and the community. This individual will oversee training plans, public relations activities, internal communications and events for HealthWest and associated initiatives (such as MYalliance Systems of Care).  Duties include administration for the training and communications’ teams along with website maintenance, brochure and flyer development, video creation, internal and external newsletters, implementation of innovative internal and external communications; social media engagement; community outreach; and event coordination and promotion.  The Communications and Training Manager will work independently and exercise independent judgment and discretion with respect to the assigned areas of responsibility.  The Communications and Training Manager will lead development and submission of strategic goals and outcomes for agency and initiative Communications and Social Marketing Plans based on assessment of community needs and ensure high quality print materials and web based communications are developed in a consistent and timely manner. The Communications and Training Manager will work 40 hours per week.
