Job Summary
Program Controller has the responsibility to drive the team to maximize program profitability.
Responsibilities
Commercial Savings Forecasting / Implementation (contractual LTA, Resin, etc) - Current and Future year
Awarded Program Financial Tracking (Budget, Recovery, etc)
Tooling Budget Management / Recovery (Payment)
Load and Maintain Metrix
Tooling Authorization / Kick Off
Tooling Budget Management / Recovery (Payment)
Capital Appropriations Request (CAR) & Feasibility Study
Maintain Launch Expense Budget and Tracking
Obtain FSO Approvals
Profit analysis for SOP X months to analyze the profitability of project in production as compared to business case
Prepares targets for purchasing on purchase part costs
Consolidates/challenges SDT response
Cost change in Metrix
Profit Plan & 5 Year Plan (including CBU accrual for contractual / non-contractual savings)
Change Management / Drive Program Profitability Improvement (Phase 2-6)
Tie off with Plant on updated standards
Establish Inter-Company Pricing
Launch Portfolio Tracker
Provide monthly financial updates for program reviews
Understand month end reporting and improve collaboration with Operations Finance Team
Prepare monthly "Ops Review - Commercial Focus" materials
Prepare "Quarterly CBU Review" materials
Prepare "Monthly Communications Meeting" materials
Submit Weekly Outlook
Prepare monthly Cap Ex Outlook
Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting; Masters Degree preferred
5 7 years of combined experience as a Financial Controller/Finance Management and/or Accounting Experience
Manufacturing/Automotive experience preferred but not required
Proficient with multiple computer systems
Business Warehouse Reporting
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint)
QAD/SAP
Ability to communicate succinctly technical information to nontechnical audience.
Ability to manipulate large amounts of data efficiently; create meaningful charts as needed to highlight issues, progress, priorities.
High aptitude for problem solving in order to resolve business, financial, customer, and organizational issues.
Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Must possess highly effective analytical skills in areas of accounting, critical thinking, analysis and communication.
