High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
This position requires a minimum of three years of inventory management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a shipping/receiving department in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated proficiency using cost-based system Oracle and/or Mapics.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Proficient in creating spreadsheets, data entry using formulas, knowledge in pivot tables, organizing, and analyzing data.
Must be able to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
Must be able to demonstrate high level Excel skillset including formulas and capable of reviewing and analyzing data.
Good oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated to internal and external employees, customers and suppliers.
Must be flexible in a changing work environment and able to reorganize rapidly to changing priorities

This position will be located in Plant 4. Key responsibilities include:
Monitors usage and ordering of indirect materials acid, shot and other items as needed. Initiates and monitors mobile equipment inspections and repairs.
Issues Manufacturing Orders for production. Manages the consumption of material. Assigns lot numbers to all bulk metal (scrap) received. Prepares a scrap log sheet for each lot. Prepares samples of new virgin material for testing. Performs incoming inspection of all material and manages/oversees the dock check-in process and safety rules. Prepares raw material inspection sheets for new virgin material. Verifies labor transactions are accurate and manually enters production milestones into ERP system.
Creating receiving reports in ERP system including ORACLE. Makes a variety of copies of packing slips and distribute. Records weight of ingots at all stages and inputs weight into ERP system (MAPICS). Assists accounting with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable matters.
