IDV Solutions, a Lansing, Michigan-based data visualization software company, is seeking an Application Systems Administrator to join our custom application deployment and configuration team. Candidates for this career opportunity will have technical experience with IT infrastructures and a background in software configuration, development and/or deployment. The Application Systems Administrator will work with customers and technical resources to implement, configure and support IDV Solutions' Web-based software solution in hosted and customer on-premise IT environments.

Infrastructure and software configuration experience, and a demonstrated capability to implement enterprise-level software are required. This position will focus around implementation of highly-customizable / configurable software solutions for IDV Solutions' customers, frequently with a need to work with other IDV Solutions resources and customer resources (technical and non-technical) to deploy customized features. We're looking for a self-starter who understands the need to blend adherence to process with a pragmatic focus on results. Expected travel for this position is less than 25%.
Degree and Experience Requirements:
• Associate or Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering Technology, or equivalent/similar
• 3+ years relevant experience, including systems / network administration, software development and/or software implementation
Required Skills:
• "Hands on" technical experience with IT administration and deployment
• Microsoft solution stack/tools, such as SQL Server, TFS and SharePoint
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to implement Web-based enterprise-level software solutions to corporate infrastructures
Preferred Skills:
• Software development experience
• Technical and management experience in the development and/or maintenance of a software product
• Former hands-on development with C# or Java
• Business analysis experience
