Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Analyst to work within the data analysis/informatics unit responsible for supporting the financial and operational units of the organization; managing tools and systems for tracking and analyzing data trends; and preparing utilization and cost projections.
This position is Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. A flexible hybrid working arrangement is available for this position. The employee may perform work from a home office or work site during regular business hours. Hybrid position requires occasional attendance at offices in Grand Rapids, MI. Employees need to live within reasonable driving distance to Grand Rapids, MI.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information
- Systems, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Information Management, or related field
- Excellent skills and experience in analyzing data, problem solving, report writing and formatting, extracting data from various sources, inspecting, and cleaning data to discover useful information.
- Ability to prepare analytical reports and maintain detailed records
- Advanced computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, Microsoft Office experience
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and detect discrepancies in financial and non-financial data and records
- Ability to present financial and non-financial data in a clear and understandable manner to both technical and non-technical users
- Good mathematical and statistical skill and knowledge
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good problem-solving techniques
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in an effective and efficient manner
- Ability to adhere to Network180 policies resulting from HIPAA privacy rules regarding individually identifiable health information concerning individuals served or employed by Network180
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in data analysis in health care
- Working knowledge of R, SQL, and PowerBI
- Experience working with health care providers
- Experience working with IS or IT staff
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities preferred
