We are seeking an Outpatient Therapist who will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to young people ages 15-30 who have experienced a first episode of psychosis. Navigate is a nationally recognized, evidence based, team approach to treatment. The function of this role is to support participants as they prepare to transition from the Navigate program. Position includes access to a vibrant state and national community of experts and similar programs with ongoing learning opportunities provided.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. However, some evenings may be needed to accommodate individuals. No weekends or on-call rotations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, Counseling or Counseling Psychology
- Certification or Licensure in the State of Michigan as a limited licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within 3 months of hire.
- Knowledge of crisis intervention and treatment methodology
- Ability to perform work in community settings which may not be barrier-free.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use including transporting of clients
- Computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office programs
- Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Full licensed as master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist preferred
- 1 year of experience providing direct services to individuals that have experienced psychosis
- Experience with the 15-30-year-old population
- Training in CBTp strongly preferred
- MCBAP certification as a CAADC
- Training in and experience with providing Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
