Position Overview:
Position is part-time seasonal non-exempt that requires the individual to work weekends and holidays, approximately 24 to 40 hours per week typically between 8:00 am and 8:30 pm.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously, meeting or exceeding callers’ expectations
- Complete reservation requests, collect payments, and document transactions
- Provide appropriate information about the campground
- Provide friendly and courteous greeting and direct visitors, guests, vendors or others to their destination
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, management, campers, and the public
- Listen to and respond appropriately to campers’ comments
- Understand campground amenities and rules to effectively market to guests and visitors.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Position may require individual to assist in gatehouse
- Position may require dispensing of propane
Supervision Received:
- Supervision is by HLP Administration Supervisor; position requires ability to perform with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Be available for work April into September
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have familiarity of computers
- General knowledge of RV camping helpful, but not required
