Job Title: C++ Developer Intern

Job Description:C++ Developer will assist the design and development of software applications and data collection tools for fieldwork purposes. Ornicept is developing data entry tools that can be deployed on field tablets.The data is remotely entered into the field computer and is later synced with a cloud data management server. These tools will be used across a range of applications to create a digital workflow. This position will include development of applications for remote data entry by field technicians.The developer will be involved in the development of applications under the direction of Ornicept’s Senior Software Developer. Applications will need to interface with onboard sensors including a GPS and a camera.

- ·Knowledge on database, Java, Objective-C++ and computer vision will be a plus
Eligibility: Ornicept is an early stage company and we are unable to independently sponsor work visas at this time. However, we invite international students eligible for Curricular Practical Training (CPT), Optional Practical Training (OPT), or Academic Training (AT) to apply.
Location: The company is located in the Ann Arbor SPARK Incubator, 330 E Liberty, near the University of Michigan in Downtown Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. This office is a short walk from the University of Michigan Central Campus and a bus ride from the North Campus.
Additional Information: Applicants may occasionally be working outdoors under a range of weather conditions.Product testing involves remote fieldwork, and some minimal travel may be required for this position. This is a paid internship.
