Position Information:
As a result of our tremendous growth, we are seeking mid-level to senior level network engineers to aid in designing, deploying, and supporting Nuspire customer’s networks.
Position Requirements:
Candidate Should Be Proficient in the Following:
• Remote troubleshooting and diagnosis of network connectivity issues
• Working with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical some non-technical)
• Must be able to communicate technical jargon to non-technical people
• Research and design work for new opportunities
• Develop network proposals and implement proposed solutions
• Cross training of peers, fellow team members, and possibly junior level technicians
• Working in a fast paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Presenting technical solutions to prospects with Power Point, Visio, or other visual aids
• Excellent knowledge of WAN protocols and network security solutions
Recommended Skill Sets
• 802.11 a/b/g/n
• HDLC, Frame, PPP, ATM
• TCP/IP and routing knowledge (TCP/UDP/IP/ICMP/etc…)
• VPN (L2TP 2/3, IPSEC, SSL-VPN, DMVPN, PPTP, GRE)
• Cisco IOS
• Linux and Windows 2000/XP/2003/Server/Workstations
• MS Exchange Experience
• Apache/MS IIS
• Office/Visio/PPT
• Network sniffing tools such as Wireshark
• TCP/IP Troubleshooting
