The primary role of the UAT Analyst is to manage and deliver a full and effective business acceptance testing process (incorporating UAT and Model Office), which results in the release of quality software and applications at North American Bancard.
The incumbent will successfully structure and maintain a testing strategy which includes ensuring quality control of application and infrastructure changes, design and document test cases, execution of test cases, recording test results, defects tracking and performing test coverage analysis. This role will identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance the overall effectiveness of quality business acceptance testing strategies at North American Bancard.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
- Participates in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.
- Testing may include application, network, system, regression and user acceptance testing.
- Performs testing activities to include: planning, design, scripting, execution, debugging and reporting tasks.
- Works with Technical and Business community to define the scope of testing required.
- Post-test execution activities include error debugging, reporting needs and internal and external communications.
- Works with multiple programs/sys-teams on projects of moderate complexity within one or more development environments.
- Works independently with management and technical groups within the functions they support.
- Utilization of business, functional and/or technical expertise to effectively develop and execute the test strategy and planning activities.
- Partner with Project Management Office (PMO) and IT on all user acceptance testing at NAB.
