The role of the Steptron Sales Associate is to identify sales leads that have a need for Steptron’s Lockout/Tagout Services, explain briefly Steptron’s service offering and if a need exists, get the prospect to commit to a near future discussion with a Steptron Project Manager to elaborate on the service offering and close the business. This is a perfect entry level position for an aggressive individual looking to get into a sales role. College Co-ops welcome.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you must be motivated, adaptable and resilient with a strong results-oriented work ethic. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of customers.
Specific qualifications for the Inside Sales Representative position include:
• Prior sales-related experience
• Prior inside B2B sales experience, preferred
• Cold calling experience
• Lead tracking & management
• Internet research to locate leads, MS Office proficient
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Proven track record of opening doors, identifying needs and scheduling follow up calls to close the opportunity
