Position Summary Information

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Demonstrate teaching effectiveness which supports student learning and encompasses pedagogies for student success to meet course or program requirements.
2.Possess the ability to work in a variety of settings which promote quality learning.
3.Maintain professional development to assure currency within field of practice.
4.Possess effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
5.Ability to teach Anatomy & Physiology and either General Biology or Microbiology courses.
Required Qualifications
1.Attained by July 1, 2014. Master’s Degree in any Biological Science with an emphasis in Anatomy & Physiology; or Master’s Degree equivalent (with at least 18 hours in biological sciences) from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. In addition, there should be coursework and/or teaching experience sufficient to teach either General Biology or Microbiology.
2.Demonstrated currency in the field of A & P, as well as either General Biology or Microbiology.
3.Minimum technology skills.
