Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
Position Requirements:
- Extensive experience maintaining Linux, Ubuntu and/or Red Hat, and Windows 2003/2008 Servers (2-4 years minimum on both)
- Experience with systems monitoring software and systems
- Telephony experience (Experience with Interactive Intelligence CIC Call Center Product a plus).
- Experience managing Windows desktops. This would include preparation of system images, provisioning and deploying systems, patch deployment, and dealing with user issues.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment
- Effective time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities with attention to detail
- Ability to document Root Cause Analysis and ongoing system documentation
- Well developed technical and analytical skills to support and troubleshoot complex issues in an enterprise environment
- Understanding of common backup and restore procedures
