The Analytics Business Consultant is responsible for leading portfolio management across the EH Data and Analytics team. This individual will provide administration and decision-support through facilitation of reporting, analysis, and evaluation of initiatives to meet performance objectives within defined business segments. The individual will support planning and advancement of initiatives from early ideation and the development of a business case through value realization. This position will act as a thought-partner to business leaders to translate business problems into businesses cases and solutions. Able to translate in between business segments and technical teams and manager projects from start to finish. * Act as a liaison between business leaders and the advanced analytics team. * Support executive-level decision making through portfolio management of key initiatives across Emerging Markets. * Work with stakeholders to identify, create, and monitor various reports and key business metrics and milestones for leading indicator metrics. * Create and continuously improve executive dashboards, reports, improvement action plans, and supporting processes. * Drives business decisions via effective communication and superb understanding of problems presented, analytical assumptions and solutions, and resources required to achieve desired results. * Effectively communicates, makes recommendations, and presents data to appropriate parties, including department leadership, business segment leadership and company executives. * Adhere to deadlines; ensure work is completed on a timely basis. * Leads and participates in workgroups and task forces to complete special assignments and projects. * Responsible for balancing workload to optimize the effectiveness of the department. QUALIFICATIONS Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. * Bachelor's degree in a related field required. * Seven years of experience in project management or operations management with demonstrated technical experience. * Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. * Previous experience in the healthcare or insurance industry is preferred. * Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills required. * Proficient in work that involves analysis, organization, planning, presentation development, problem resolution. * Must demonstrate leadership ability and team building skills to effectively interact with all levels of management. * Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of unit team. * Ability to effectively exchange information, in verbal or written form, by sharing ideas, reporting facts and other information, responding to questions, and employing active listening techniques. * Ability to establish workflows, manage multiple projects, and meet necessary deadlines. * Must be self-motivated and can work well under pressure. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external contacts at all levels of the organization. * Knowledge of Medicare Advantage plan products, programs, underwriting rules, membership and billing procedures, open enrollment processes, rating methodologies, rate renewals, and agent distribution systems to effectively manage staff is preferred. * Ability to read, analyze, write, and develop communications (i.e., white papers, strategy decks, etc.) or reports as required by leadership. * Proficient in current industry standard PC applications and systems; specifically, MS Office, collaboration applications, and PPM applications (PlanView preferred)
