Job Description: Design quality POV's, provide product documentation and continuous improvements that meet customer expectations. Provide project management and efficient engineering operating systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering project direction from inception, through development and into production.
- Provide layouts, drawings, and project documentation of engineering developments and changes.
- Develop experimental and prototype parts including fabrication guidance.
- Resolve engineering and production issues using appropriate resources, research, and adequate parts testing.
- Present new product and part changes to Service Department and gain their input and acceptance of new products.
- Provide technical information, illustrations, proper terminology for owner manuals, and proofs required for service documents and product labeling.
- Create "Return on Investment" studies and "Long Term Cost" studies.
Skills Required:
- Mechanical engineering degree.
- 3-5 years engineering/management experience.
- SolidWorks, CAD knowledge.
- Ability to produce technical drawings and related technical documents.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of competitive POV's a plus.
