Position Summary
Provides direct support to reception staff and works with office manager to supervise in the areas of professional performance, competency, attendance, and adherence to all rules and regulations pertaining to efficient operations. Acts as the Supervisor over all reception and billing staff in absence of Office Manager. Key responsibilities would include process improvement, oversight and coordination of staff schedules. Evaluates current processes and leads or participates in projects to lead the implementation of business solutions to support operations. Will as the secondary supervisor for centralized administrative support.
Must be comfortable maintaining a high level of interpersonal skills while interacting with all levels of colleagues, subordinates and others within the unit and University administration.
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired in the first two or three years in college, technical, vocational or business school with coursework in office management and business; one to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in office management, budget preparation, financial and administrative record-keeping and secretarial skills; experience in word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, and/or web page design or presentation software; or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; and may require one to three years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Previous experience in supervision, finance and medical billing.

This is an off-dated position funded for two years from date of hire, with possible extension contingent upon funding renewal.
