The Tutorial Education Coordinator (TEC), works in conjunction with the Tutorial Education Manager, and is an integral member of the Learning Commons administration and Leadership Team.
The TEC will provide leadership and coordination of peer tutoring, managing student employee Learning Assistants, and working collaboratively with the Tutorial Education Manager, faculty in the academic programs, and College services to ensure excellent academic support, instruction, and learning assistance. This is done in alignment with the LCC Mission, Vision, and strategic initiatives to increase Student Success, which includes retention, persistence, and completion.
Administrative responsibilities include updating and maintaining the Professional Tutors and Learning Assistants work schedules, collaborating with the CARES Team to ensure accuracy across all scheduling applications. TEC will assist employees to maintain accurate and timely student contact records and reports.

This position will work on LCC’s Downtown campus and may have work assignments on other campus locations; occasional nights and weekends as required.
