Group/DivisionKLA has manufacturing sites across the globe, including Belgium, China, Germany, Israel, Singapore and Milpitas (CA). The Global Operations (GOPS) team, comprised of Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Installation, and Quality, is responsible for manufacturing our leading-edge technology. Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Opportunity for high impact performer to develop and drive global strategies. High visibility role that regularly interacts with procurement, engineering, quality, and product teams. Position is based at our growing Headquarters-2 in Ann Arbor, MI. Join a growing strategic supply chain team that directly impacts change across our global supply base and within KLA!
Develop and drive global strategic category strategies for OEM & Software/IT systems on tools cross all sites.
Develop and negotiate RFQ/RFP within assigned categories.
Drive negotiation process with supplier and relevant internal global customers.
Leads supply agreements & contracts for assigned categories/suppliers.
Ability to evaluate global commodity markets while assessing impact to supply base.
Lead the supplier performance process and coordinate quarterly business reviews with the executive team.
Drive continuous improvement at supplier to improve processes and reduce cost.
Partner with Manufacturing operations team to conduct Make vs. Buy analysis for the assigned categories.
Own supplier relationship globally. Engage with divisions and lead global supply allocation as needed.
Identify supplier risk and develop global multi-functional mitigation plans to ensure supply chain resiliency.Qualifications:
Persuasive communication to influence and implement central sourcing initiatives at executive and working level globally.
Global Supply Chain/Procurement of 10 years or 4 years of a relevant technical field with 4 years of Supply Chain/Procurement experience. The relevant technical specialties may include the following: technical sales, R&D engineering, program management or new product introduction.
Implement sourcing strategies that map to and support overall business strategies.
Proven technical, business, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Work multi-functionally between internal groups to achieve common business objectives.
Able to ensure compliance with company best practices, policies, procedures, and external compliance requirements.
On-site presence at KLA Ann Arbor is required at least 2 days per week.
Domestic and international travel is required (~25%)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with +8 years' work experience, OR Master's degree with +6 years' work experience
