- Must be a high school graduate or have successfully completed the General Educational Development Test (GED);
- Obtain an S-4 water distribution system license within twelve (12) months of employment;
- Obtain a soil erosion inspectors certificate within twelve (12) months of employment;
- Obtain Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) 24 hour training within twelve (12) months of employment;
- Ability to maintain HAZWOPER certification as a condition of continued employment through eight (8) hour refresher courses;
- Ability to be medically qualified for use of a respirator prior to employment and maintain facial hair to allow use of a full face respirator as a condition of continued employment;
- Possess a valid Michigan driver's license.
