Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Weekend Machine Repairer to join our team in Holland, MI.
As a Weekend Machine Repairer, you will:
Perform routine and emergency maintenance on all machines and equipment, diagnose source of problem or potential problem, and maintain or repair machines or equipment as needed. Construct, alter, and design tools, special purpose machines, fixtures, and gauges.

Do you have these required qualifications?
High school diploma, GED, or 3years of machine repair experience for each year of school uncompleted
Certificate of completion of a 4-year apprentice program OR 6years of machine repair experience OR4years of military mechanical repair experience
Must have or be willing to obtain a complete set of trade tools
Ability to obtain and maintain valid powered industrial truck operator permit
Ability to legally drive in State of Michigan
Ability to work in Holland, MIwithout relocation assistance
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship
Ability to climbladders and or machinery, stoop, crouch, twist, kneel, crawl, and walk to access repair area, while carrying or moving tools and repair parts, including overhead and floor to waist lifting of materials weighing over 50 pounds
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Furniture industry experience
Experience working on mid-sized to large maintenance crews (4 plus people)
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
Time management skills
Ability to manage conflict and maintain positive relationships
