Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is currently looking for an Information Technology at our Superior Township, MI facility who will:

An IT Operation Systems Administrator must have ability to build and maintain multiple databases to maintain accountability of company assets and resources and solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
IT Operation Systems Administrator also evaluate program effectiveness to determine if redistribution of funds is needed. Some primary duties include:
Manage network servers and technology tools
Set up accounts and workstations
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills

Apply application fixes & maintenance patches and Troubleshoot / diagnose application issues.
Researches, diagnoses, troubleshoots and identifies solutions to resolve customer issues
Follows standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
Identify technical requirements, and use technical knowledge to design, and implement functional systems, to fulfill customers' expectations.
Develop solutions to problems, as well as manage multiple issues at the same time.
Create and Maintain documentation for applications, incidents, and their known resolutions as well as common best practices of enterprise-level systems.
manage/maintain/operate R&D application, troubleshoot the issue, follows standard procedure
IT planning to implement the project by request of each team
Support IT team operation as team member
Ownership, management of IT asset/ purchasing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; commitment to open, timely and thorough verbal, written and other communications;
Certification in Microsoft licensing or other technical licensing;

Tracking, monitoring, maintaining, and recouping all IT software and hardware assets across all sites
Assist in research and recommendation of the right hardware for the correct business requirements
Assist in yearly hardware and software (licenses) forecasting for purchasing Work with IT staff throughout the asset life cycle to ensure proper inventory, licensing, allocation, utilization, compliance and retirement of assets;
Work safely and demonstrate safe work practices;
Provide information and support for the development of IT budgets and forecasts;
Maintains regular and reliable attendance;
Manage hardware and software contracts including from initiation to termination;
Performs other duties as assigned;
Operate Platte River motor vehicles to perform duties at various sites;
Manage requests for IT assets in Service Now;
Maintain records of all contracts and recurring costs and verify monthly against actuals.
Perform regular audits of the software and hardware inventory to validate for any discrepancies

Qualifications and Requirements
Up to 3 years of Experience
Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Familiar with Windows Server, Linux operating platform, and internet infrastructure.
Familiar with Internet infrastructure and data center maintenance and management.
Experienced as an internet administrator or Web Host Manager.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities
Flexible, organized and able to work effectively with all levels of employees.
Education and Experience
BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
Experience working in culturally diverse team environment
