Machine Lube Technican Schedule:
7:00am - 7:00pm
Week 1: Mon,Tues,Fri,Sat
Week 2: Sun,Wed,Thurs
Week 3: repeat from week 1
Sunday are double time
Paid weekly
Machine Lube Technician Environment:
This role will be working outside all day, year round. Safety is our number one priority; therefore ppe such as hard hat, high vis, steel toed boots, safety glasses and more will need to be worn when in the yard. There will be heavy equipment on site and it is a recycling yard where we receive scrap material. It will be dirty, dusty, and loud due to the machinery.
Machine Lube Technician Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for greasing company equipment, including heavy equipment or semi tractors and trailers, changing fluids in company equipment and maintaining accurate service records. Actively participates and displays the company values. Must have a valid driver's license.
Change fluids in equipment and grease equipment as needed.
Inspect equipment for possible problems or safety hazards after servicing.
The Truck/Trailer Lube Technician should maintain documentation of preventative maintenance services and schedule next services.
Ability to learn operation of all equipment in order to transport after servicing.
Pay close attention to details including safety procedures.
Cleaning and housekeeping as necessary.
Ability to lift up to 75 pound barrels of fluid and/or equipment.
May be expected to use Hi-lo or forklift.
Sort material by hand
Machine Lube Technician Qualifications:
Legible handwriting necessary
Mechanical aptitude and experienced required
Ability to work independently or as a team player
Hi-lo skills a plus
Ability to pay attention to detail
Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment
Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position with or without accommodations
Demonstrated safety consciousness
