Your responsibilities
Summary - Responsible for designing releasing and integrating of electrical hardware controls systems for projects within area of assigned responsibility by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
Executes hardware design, feasibility studies, preparation of specifications and technical documentation for tk-SY assembly and test equipment (Battery, Car Body and Power Train Assembly and Test Systems).
Carries out engineering solutions and designs in compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements and project specifications.
Develops electrical schematic hardware drawings and electrical cabinets.
Create check and release material BOM.
Prepares electrical hardware documentation for customer approval, equipment build and shipment to customer.
Evaluates solutions in respect to feasibility and cost effectiveness.
Addresses potential problems and carries out appropriate actions individually or proposes solutions to the project engineer depending on the severity of the problem.
Supports communication with customers, suppliers and company project team regarding all controls issues in assigned project in support of the Project Manager.
Your profile
Basic Qualifications:
Knowledge of the functionality of controls equipment for assembly and test equipment (Battery, Powertrain Assembly and Test Systems).
Minimum of 2 years of industry-related experience
Experience and knowledge with designing controls schematics
Experience and knowledge with AutoCAD
Experience and knowledge with ePlan
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field from a 4-year college or university is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word
Experience and knowledge with SAP - SAP/PLM
