A day in the life of a Billing Coordinator at NTH
- Support project managers with project accounting related functions
- Correctly and timely invoicing to clients for services offered.
- Respond to clients’ inquiries on invoicing, back-up, insurance certificates, and waivers.
- Coordinate timely collection efforts with PMs and upper management, if necessary.
- Update and maintain billing and collection files including collection history and upcoming payments.
- Monitor project revenues and budgets.
- Maintain confidentiality with financial and personal information.
- Act as the point of contact for colleagues in other departments.
What you need to apply
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills, be able to work in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrated team-oriented approach to problem-solving, and have strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with accounting staff to enforce corporate standards.
- Accuracy, dependability, and strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional time management skills, must be able to manage multiple assignments at any given time and complete work to articulated deadlines.
- Pursue professional development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the financial and business goals of the firm.
- Must have integrity and trustworthiness.
