St. John Paul II Catholic Academy seeks a motivated Maintenance Worker in Menominee, MI.
This is a part-time or full-time position that will ensure the proper maintenance of the building, including grounds and fixtures, to promote a safe learning environment for students and faculty.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor building and grounds to ensure a safe and well-functioning environment.
- Remove debris from grounds and dispose of it in designated areas.
- Respond to emergency maintenance problems and/or environmental hazards.
- Perform repairs throughout the building, including broken fixtures, leaking pipes, and out-of-order appliances.
- Pay special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.
- Maintain building equipment and tools.
SCHEDULE This is a part-time or full-time position, working primarily before and after the hours of a traditional school schedule. Working on weekends, evenings, and some holidays may be required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or other directly related experience preferred, but not required for entry level Maintenance Workers.
- Able to withstand constant standing and reaching along with continuous bending, squatting, and walking, as well as frequent kneeling, climbing, sitting, and use of fine motor skills.
- Able to lift 55 pounds, frequently lift and carry 25 pounds, work on ladders, stairs, and other related equipment.
- Able to work with minimal supervision, work well with others, and be a team player.
- Must use proper LO/TO procedures and wear PPE at all times.
